Welcome!

I’m so happy you’re here! I wish I could categorize this website in just one way. “Style and Home Decor” doesn’t encompass my passion for spreading kindness and supporting my community. “Lifestyle Content” doesn’t convey my distaste for overconsumption. I’m not crafty enough to get away with “Creative Outlet” and I’m not consistent enough to be a “Daily Blog”. All I can say is that this is an amalgamation of my mind, hobbies, and interests. Everything I love in one place. Scroll to get a glimpse of what you’ll find, or tap the menu up top to see the different pages full of blogs!

My name is Ella, I’m 23, and I live in the Yosemite Foothills.

Cherish your community.

Community is everything. Your local library needs you. Small businesses in your community deserve your money so much more than any big corporation. Donate to food pantries, shop at local & non-profit thrift stores, go on a ten minute walk just so you can bring a bag and pick up litter, volunteer for a cause close to your heart. My Community blog section will share my efforts to support the place I call home, and the causes, events, and businesses that I love.

Secondhand is everything.

Thrifting, estate sales, online shopping, and more. 95% of my life is secondhand. And I want to encourage you to do the same. A sustainable life doesn’t have to be perfect, but it can absolutely be beautiful! I will always advocate for slow and intentional curation over instant gratification.

If you love personal style that doesn’t care about trends or what the fashion industry says, you’ll love the blog posts under Clothing & Style

If you love thrifting too many trinkets, hoarding antique glassware, or secondhand throw pillows, you’ll love Home Decor

Be an imperfect environmentalist.

I have always been called to nature. I love animals, plants, and people. Caring for the Earth and it’s inhabitants is so important.

Some of my blog posts are dedicated to my personal thoughts and experiences as an imperfect environmentalist. I also post about some of the books I read, and in general
